In the summer of 2012 Kevin Belna met Frankie Biggz at theJuly 30th live broadcast of Darren Darby's and Frankie's internet show MusicBusiness Secrets. Kevin and Frankiebecame friends on Facebook the next week and, through a series of online chats,a friendship having roots in spirituality and music began. During thecourse of their conversations Kevin had relayed to Frankie his idea of a musiche wanted to make. It was based on a formula comprised of hip-hop anddance genre electric beats composed of modern sounding synthesizers utilizingeighties pop music melodies, and progressive rock style rhythm and leadguitars. Over this mix of instrumentation Kevin envisioned having vocalscomparable to today's modern female singing pop artists (i.e Britney Spears,Pink, or Gwen Stefani). Frankie took a liking to the idea and agreed towork with Kevin's song writing talents to co-write and produce an album of suchmanner. They began working together on the music in November of 2012. Thenature of their co-efforts having Kevin provide the main composition of thesongs with Frankie tailoring and adding to it. Frankie would also furnishthe beats for the pieces. The lyrics and vocal lines they wouldcollaborate writing together. When ready, they would have a female singer(one Frankie would pick out) provide the performance of the vocal parts Frankieand Kevin developed.

The Kevin Belna Project was coined by Frankie Biggz. Its primary purposeis to serve as the title of the music group the album would be listedunder. This group having Kevin as the primary artist with the femalevocalist as a featured artist. It is also intended that the Kevin BelnaProject be the name of the group of musicians doing live performances of themusic. The group would be led by Kevin (playing guitar parts on stage)accompanying the featured female vocalist.

To date, the Kevin Belna Project is not yet an active group doing performances;the first album to be by the name is still a work in progress; it has not beenreleased. As of this writing, Frankie and Kevin are diligently working onfinishing up the compositions. They plan on acquiring a vocalist andgetting all the recordings finished in the near future. They anticipatethe album's release being sometime during the summer of 2016. The albumwill be titled "Love and Sacrifice."
