Kerosene Drifters is a husband and wife team whose joint passion is music, whether listening to, creating, or performing.
Both Korey and Dana enjoy eclectic genres, ranging from Rock to Blues to Country, and it shows in their songwriting. Coining the phrase "Drifter Rock" to describe their style, the couple happily admit their songs will surprise you from one play push to the next. KD released their debut EP in May 2017. It's a mix of soulful vocals and incendiary guitar riffs over a funky rhythm section, with hooks that you'll be singing days later. Stuart Sullivan worked his mixing magic on "Barb's Wired" and "Have a Little Faith". The EP contains 5 tracks that are unique to each other, telling stories of love, the struggle within, regret, and pays tribute to the black sheep of the world. 2017 has been an exciting year for the band, releasing their first EP as well as opening for bands Reckless Kelly and Mickey & the Motorcars (check out some of the show under "Media"), and being featured on Fox's Daytime @ 9 (under "Press"). Although the album is just released, they're already looking forward to getting back in the studio for the next one. To catch a glimpse of what's to come, what's on the current album, and what they're into right now, attend a live performance where they are always adding new material.
