Two notes and you know it’s her. With a passion and energy all her own, KATHIA possesses a vocal intensity that vividly expresses emotional nuance -- AND she rocks the joint to pieces. KATHIA has been delighting audiences with her luscious contralto driven rockabilly since 2005 when she created her first live band The Kathia Jane Band in her native New York City. In 2008 KATHIA brought her magic rockabilly sound, in the form of KATHIA JANE AND THE V8s, to vibrant Philadelphia where she now hails from.

KATHIA is extremely excited about the release of her debut EP CD, "TRANSCEND" and thrilled to have worked with the phenomenal studio musicians who played with her on the "TRANSCEND" recording sessions: guitarists Graham Tichy, Dean Bailin, Jef Lee Johnson , Ron Jennings and Skip Heller; upright bassists Jim Haggerty and Mike Lampe and drummers Dennis Barth and Halsey Shelton.
