You can't insist on your logic using your age as your point of argument. That will only work on your children, maybe until they're 10 (on average). In some cases, it won't work at all; because age doesn't make you smarter, just relatively more experienced. And sense is not bound by time, what doesn't make sense now, will never make sense. Unless the surrounding circumstances change in perfect accord with the point you're trying to make.
