Hi Debut album entitled The MessAge it is the result of a decade dedicated to music and the outcome of thoroughly thought out compositions that call for a serious reconsideration of the system we have created and a plea for each human to engage in a profound self-reflection. As a multi-instrumentalist and producer, Jesus played the majority of the instruments and produced the album himself, which gives it a genuine and characteristic sound that evidently stands out from other current reggae productions.

He started his music journey in 2004 with an acoustic gig of originals and covers in a beach pub in the Lisbon area.

The following year the Portuguese singer songwriter went to England to study music and it was at the Academy of Contemporary Music where he found the musicians that would give rhythm and melody to his message – the reggae band called Jamblin was born in that same year.

Soon after they started to perform in the Surrey area, crowded pubs, venues and private parties lead to Jamblin being invited to play at music festivals such as the Grass Roots Festival and Breach Breakes in consecutive years. Jamblin’s last performance culminated with a reggae night at The Cobden, one of the most prestigious London venues.

After finishing his studies he moved to London where he took the challenge to go solo and record his debut album.

Years in making, his album became an opportunity for him to express his love for music through almost all instruments present in it. But his passion for sound did not end there... He also produced and co-mastered the entire album at the Cutting Suit Studio. As it stands, The MessAge truly his “baby”.

While this creative process was undergoing, he took the chance to perform solo in various London venues such as The Bedford and events such as the Global Tolerance Anniversary at the Royal Society of Arts in London.

He also was invited to play at the Glasgow Concert Hall at one of Fair Trade’s events which once again proves his eagerness to support "the change" that this world longs for.
