He was influenced at a very young age by his musical surroundings. At 10 years old , he discovered his love for the guitar.

At the age of 15, he began working with horses. Throughout this time he realized his passion for American Country Music. From that moment on he was inspired by such country greats as Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Hank Williams, Clint Black, Alabama and many more. These country legends inspired him to work diligently so that he may achieve his biggest dream: become a country music performer.

By the time he turned 24, many opportunities were accessible to him in the country music industry. The possibilities to succeed were great! He devoted all his efforts to refining his style and voice, relentlessly striving towards the future

His career became a reality when at age of 25, he began performing in Quebec. At the end of his performances, the audience applauded him as a true country star. Proud and confident, he brought his talent to the music capital of the world ''Nashville''. Following his first performance the audience and critics unanimously declared him a star.

His first recording session in 2001 became an instant success with the music fans of Quebec. His self produced album called ''Deeper in Love'' was named english album of the year in 2002. During the same year, JC received the entertainer of the year award, and his song ''Mexican Vacation'' was named song of the year.

In 2004 JC gave 8 performances in France, among them, he was acclaimed with a standing ovation by 25,000 screaming fans in Mirande. Being number one all summer on music box 92,8 FM Paris with ''little toy train'' his tremendous success during this European tour opened doors for over 35 performances in France Switzerland and Belgium .JC sing the National Anthem for a major league baseball game in the great Olympic Stadium of Montreal for against the Montreal Expos and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

In 2005, JC performed in different Canadian casino's ,festivals and theaters with a country crew call ''On the road again''.

In 2006, JC was honored in France at the ‘’Paris Country Festival’’ for being Top Canadian Country Artist. Quebec also honored him with the ‘’Merite Country Award’’ for being top country singer of the year.

In 2007-08, JC appeared in many TV shows in Quebec and across Canada and The On the road again tour still very hot and many of the dates are sold out.JC’s biggest achievement in 2007 was to be part of the opening act for the legendary Kenny Rogers at the world famous ‘’St-Tite International Country Festival’’JC few performance in the Europeene Country for his 5th years in a row in the Fabulous Town of Paris France and more.JC's tribute to the Legendary Hank Williams is an awsome succes throught out Ontario and Quebec,the fans are asking for more...

In 2009-10-11,JC keep performing in theater and festival more than ever ! JC's shows are alway's different one after the other he like to surprise his fans all the time,you can see JC Harrisson Show ,he also do the Hank Williams Story and this year a show call Cash and friends dedicted to Johnny Cash and it's a must see!

In 2012 ,JC was a major act in the Canada Fest held in Hollywood Florida for his first time.Country music magazine Echos vedettes special edition write three pages on JC's life and story with great texts and pic's.JC is also extremely happy to be back on the road with his friends for the music hall ''Pour l'amour du Country''across eastern Canada with the great Guylaine Tanguay.Singer-songwriter JC is Back on the board writing new songs for 2013.He's working on french and english singles.

Now in 2013 , JC is proud to be part of the Amour du country tour for over 20 performance in the early spring.JC will be back this year with Patrick Norman on ARTV Television Show!JC's come back in France for his first appearance since 2008,He can't wait to see the French Fans!

This is the biggest year for JC he will be all over the place with his tremendous performance this is not a surprise ,he will end the year with a Bahamas Country cruise with friends.
