A dubstep trio that settled into a lineup consisting of vocalist AndrEa, MC BarBie (also trombone and effects), and DJ Xperimentalist (also drums and effects), Jazzsteppa are a live act within a scene driven by producers.
They debuted in 2008 with short-form releases on Hotflush and MG77. “Big Swing Sound” and “Alpha” were issued, respectively, on Studio Rockers and Police in Helicopters in 2009, while a self-titled CD -- predominantly a compilation -- appeared later in the year.
