He grew up in Mesa, Arizona and attended the prestigious Arizona State University where he graduated with bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and later on a Master's degree.

Before throwing himself fully into writing, his childhood dream, Bell worked as a sports news anchor and reporter at KYMA in Yuma, Arizona and WJHG in Panama city beach Florida, both being affiliates of NBC universal. He also worked as a radio disc jockey, a movie studio intern, a stagehand, a cameraman, a pipe fitter, a magician, the list is endless.

Jake is a gifted writer over a wide genre including comedy, action adventure novel and children books as well as comics. Some of his well-known books include the amazing adventures of Nate banks – a series, secret identity, the webcomic model student and the mega-matrix: hero within.

Bell lives in Phoenix, Arizona together with his two children. Looking at the quality of his past books, it’s reasonable to say that novel lovers still look forward to having more from this 41-year-old prolific writer.
