K-Bee’s vocal style is very unique. He always stood out as original. His musical influence came predominantly from his father, a local renowned singer in Long Island and in his home of Mississippi and the New Orleans area named Gene Bridges. K-Bee’s musical training and career began at the tender age o three. He started songwriting at eleven years old. As he got older, he developed other musical talents. He developed his skills playing the saxophone then experimenting with other woodwind and brass instruments. Throughout the years, K-Bee has toured nationally singing R&B and Gospel music singing with many groups, but most notable Gene Bridges & The Wings of Faith, and Award winning choirs Voice of Hope & Long Island Voices directed by Pastor Mary Sharpe. As time went on, he began to develop his other talents as a music producer and recording engineer. In 2001, K-Bee joined the production team Groundwurk Entertainment as a songwriter and music arranger. Not long after,K-Bee decided to sing only Gospel/Inspirational music and dedicate his live totally to the Lord in 2003. Later that year, his father suffered an accidental tragic death. K-Bee was devastated and went into a depression, ready to give up his music career altogether. Through constant prayer and faith, he came out of depression and started to really seek the word of God. In 2007, K-Bee became Ordained as a Deacon. Immediately after he started taking his talents to another level and built his first production studio. In 2009, K-Bee started KJB Entertainment LLC along with his business partner and long-time friend, Michael“Deep” Francis. Since the company started, doors have been opening left and right. The company now has an Inspirational Division, which K-Bee is the President as well as one of the artist. K-Bee is currently a vocalist for the group Jeff Roberson & NuLife, and the newest member of KJB Entertainment newly sign Gospel group HeavenSent. K-Bee is putting the finishing touches to his first solo EP "Redemption"releasing this summer and he’s also one of the lead actors in the new inspirational play “Truth Between the Sheets” which will be touring nationally in the second half of 2013.
