We just got an amazing bassist, Chris Simunek who was the best bassist I ever played alongside. Dave and I had grown musically and decided on rockin' out gospel style with more than just a touch of thrash. We called the band HOUSE OF GOD and we were gonna expose the evils of organized religion much like Reagan Youth spoke out against those rich, reactionary, racist republicans. We were going to spread some real positive gospels with the music making it so beautiful, that you just knew Jesus was lovin' it. As soon as we started the band things went awry rather suddenly and it was all over before we ever had a chance, We did get to record this 8 track demo at with Jay engineering at Giant Studios on 14th street between 6th and 7th avenues, NYC).
