Progressive metal band Heads or Tales emerged out of Sweden in the mid-'90s and displayed a strong Dream Theater influence on their only album, 1995's Eternity Becomes a Lie, released by the Black Mark label.
Despite being well recorded and performed, said album lacked the distinctive songwriting and imagination to stand out from the competition, and taking into consideration their record company's only modest promotion and distribution infrastructure, Heads or Tales members Robert Forse (vocals), Mikael Lindkvist (lead guitar), Jonas Sjoholm (rhythm guitar), Tobjörn Brogren (bass), and Marcus Nowak (drums) were soon left looking for work with new bands. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
