He has taken several courses in music theory and lessons from the Boston Music Company in the jazz guitar style. His own work is surprising different and unique incorporating many styles for his singer/songwriting position. Mike is in the studio now but plays at The Lizard Lounge in Cambridge, MA every few weeks to keep him on his toes. His main influences have been The Beatles and Bob Marley. Again, however, his music's universal taste in lyrics are the only real things he has gleaned from them--their philosophy is much like his own.
