I began painting in 1998 after suffering an aneurysm and a subsequent stroke. While attending speech therapy at Texas Womens University, I began taking art classes and discovered it was an interesting although very different way of communicating my feelings. I prefer simply to invoke whatever emotion comes from anyone who enjoys it.
