Guignol's Band born in 1993 in Turin(Italy).The name of the Band refers both to L.F.Celine's book "Guignol's Band" and to "Guignol",the character of the French puppet theater who symbolises rebellion and non-conformism.Now the Band lives in the town of Sanremo(Italy).Guignol's Band is essentially composed by Elena Sartoretti(cello,piano and keyboards) and Gianluca Lupieri(voice,acoustic and electric guitar,drum and bass programming).Sometimes other musicians collaborate with us both in studio and in live performances.Guignol's Band plays a large number of live performances(both in Italy than in foreign countries) to promote the CDS that normally do.The activity of the Band is normally reviewed by international newspapers and radio all over the world.All our recordings are live in studio,we never did overdubbing on them.Actually Guignol's Band is under contract with the German label "Music Art & Emotions".
