Gospel singer and composer Judith Christie McAllister's love of music was first inspired by her mother, the pianist for their church.
Soon, McAllister began studying the piano herself, a skill that clearly transferred over to her work as an adult as leader and later musical director at the West Angeles Church of God in Christ in California. After she founded her own label, Judah Music, McAllister released her debut album, Send Judah First, in 2001, which was followed two years later with Raise the Praise. In 2006 McAllister issued In His Presence. ~ Marisa Brown
