Bio-

Gorgy began in 2008 when guitarist Kelly “Taker” McCoy, drummer Clint Glasscock, bassist Chris Haynes, plus guitarist/vocalist Jeremy Miller and vocalist Bobby Snook teamed with the intention to create the sickest death/grind to ever come from the state of Kentucky. 2010 saw them releasing “The Battered Demo.” In 2011 they debuted their first full length “Birth of Damnation” with 8 crushing tracks released on HPGD Productions. Followed with festival appearances that included Foothills Gutfest, Central Illinois Metal Fest, GoatlardFest, Mayhem in May Fest and Louisville Death Fest along with a handful of regional shows. In 2012 they released the EP titled “Devoured” which featured 3 new brutal gut stabbing songs. This kicked them off into touring Europe where they dismantled 5 countries with their ferocious live show. When 2013 came along, Clint decided based on personal reasons to step down from the ranks, which then brought the addition of Scott Briggs (ex-Aeons of Eclipse) to take over on drums. With a refreshed line up and motivation to assault the ears of their fan base, Gorgy is working to release their sophomore album to be titled “Orgy of Gore.”
