While attending school, he managed to have time to do what he loved the most, music. He tried to stay out of trouble occupying all of his time playing football & basketball for school; unfortunately, as an adolescent and without a father figure in his life he was expelled from middle school. Golden was a member of the Monopoly music group along with childhood friends; Ice Madalyan, King Pin and Kaine and was encouraged by his mother at a family cookout after an amazing act to engage in music seriously. He started to build a reputation for being musically gifted when he began writing Rhythm & Blues lyrics initially, free styling with his friends and performing at local talent shows like the American Legion as well as doing tv interviews locally. He was offered a recording deal by Hilltop Records at age 17 however he was not comprehensive of the industry and didnt pursue the same. Inspired by various artists like Jay-Z, Lox, Jadakiss and Musiq SoulChild because Golden truly believes they speak the truth, he debuted his first mixtape, “Check One” in early 2008 which featured his hottest track, “Make It Work.” Check One was created mainly for dancing in the clubs and can best be described as Golden experimenting and having fun with his tracks. Determined to become a legend, Golden Chyle continually tries to reach his goals and aspirations, releasing his second epk style mixtape, “Check Two” in January 2010, with smashing hits like Zonen, Better Listen and Golden Going In. Check Two portrays Golden’s profound love and talent for music, where he turns music into magic, shows his true diversity and all that he can provide to the music industry. This cd/dvd was immediately embraced by the public as well as local radio stations where tracks are still in regular rotation. His cacophonic, identifiable voice and unquestionable creativity in music has allowed him to grace the stage with artists like Jim Jones and Young Buck to name a few. Golden Chyle recently released his banging, new single, Drunk Off Your Love, premiered on YouTube with over 6, 000 spins, now available on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, Emusic, Napster, Spotify & MediaNet. Golden is currently underway of being signed and obtaining his dream, as well as working on his next 2012/13 project, his hotly anticipated epk style mixtape album to be released shortly. Golden states unfalteringly, “Engineering, songwriting and recording on my own has been a great learning experience but a very difficult challenge. I want to go straight to the top; nothing will stop me till I get there! Focus!!”
