In 2005, DOMINIA was spotted by Russian manager Konsta Byleev and Finnish musical figure Atte Blom. Thereby the band recorded their first single “Runaway / Simple Thing” in Finland (Oulu), the studio Tonebox. For the moment there are two full-length albums: Divine Revolution (2006) and Judgment of Tormented Souls (2009), published by the Finnish label UHO Production and recorded at Sound Supreme Studios (Finland) under the direction of Janne Saksa. And there is a “Behind the Universe” video also. As the sound of studio work, and at live shows, listener could feel the uniqueness of DOMINIA . Now the band is on a very high professional level. In Russia, the band is recognized as one of the most promising band in its style, it is often called the best metal-formation of the country. Casper, our violins and keyboards, he is a genius, he has many rewards and recognition as a greatest violin player in rock and metal music. Abroad and at home DOMINIA have devoted fans. Leading editions and online portals put the albums of the band the highest marks. DOMINIA performing in the native state and abroad on a par with many reputable European metal bands, such as Katatonia, Apocalyptica, Anathema, Tiamat, Kypck, Lake Of Tears, To/Die/For, Pain. And in 2012 Gaby Koss (ex.Haggard, Equilibrium) joined DOMINIA on our new album and single records.

Personal music style of the band is based on the traditions of European death, doom and black metal, on the traditions of classical music and classical performing school, the musical culture of the Carpathian ethnic bands. DOMINIA also was good influenced by spiritual sounds of the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and Baroque music. The visual side of the band could be described as a very emotional performing with dramatic elements.
