Glenn Salgoud ( Caulfield)was born in South Africa and lived there until he was 26 years old.

He left in 1984. He trained as a musician in the Jazz School of music, Cape Town, pupil of Merton Barrow, where he also taught guitar. He began to work with thearte as musician, gigging in South Africa.He later studied classical violin through Trinity collge of london and studied mime/theatre and sculpture in Italy, Switzerland and the UK.Based in the UK at the time, he continued to work as a musician through the late 80´s and 90´s travelling through Europe (UK, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia) During this period he also trained as a professional mask maker and actor later teaçhing his skill in Europe, USA, India and South Africa.He currently lives in Spain, Madrid.He is one of the founder members of the musical group Proyecto Birdi.

Formado como músico en 1983 en The Jazz School of Music, Cuidad del Cabo.Alumno de Merton Barrow. También trabajó allí como profesor de guitara durante un año. Mientras, desarrolló su carrera como cantautor. Empezó a trabajar como músico en obras de teatro.

Estudió violín clásico en Londres, a través de The Trinity Collge School of Music, artes visuales /escultura/ mimo en Suiza e Italia. Durante los años 90.s continuó su trabajo como músico en teatros haciendo giras por Inglaterra, Irlanda, Escocia, Holanda, Alemania, Austria, Bélgica, Suiza, Eslovenia y Croacia.

Al los principios de los años 90.s empezó a enfocarse en al arte de la máscara teatral como escultor, actor y maestro del mismo, formando una compañía de teatro, actuando y enseñando el arte del gesto por el mundo ( Europa, La India y Sud-áfrica).

Vive en Madrid desde 1998.

Actualmente es miembro del grupo musical Proyecto Birdi desde 2012.
