Glen Carson, Ed.
D. serves as Lead Consultant for Proactive Academic Consulting. Dr. Carson holds a Bachelors' degree in Agricultural Education from Clemson University, a Masters' degree in Mathematics Education from Furman University and a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Carolina.

A lifelong resident of Greenville, South Carolina, Dr. Carson has professional experience as a teacher of agriculture, mathematics, and science in middle and high schools throughout Upstate South Carolina. At the college level, Dr. Carson has taught courses in educational statistics, research, mathematics instructional strategies, administrative leadership, and cooperative learning at Furman University, Converse College and the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Carson's administrative experience includes service as a district instructional supervisor and Assistant Superintendent in Spartanburg School District Four. In addition, Dr. Carson has directed a National Science Foundation teacher development program and a Tech Prep initiative at USC Spartanburg. He has experience as an instructor at Greenville Technical College and a Doctoral Dissertation Committee Member at Liberty University.

As a registered facilitator for Franklin-Covey, Dr. Carson has led workshops in The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and Principle-Centered Leadership. The National Association of Secondary School Principals has certified Glen as a facilitator of it's Leader 123 workshop. He currently serves as a Board member and Data Team Leader for the Spartanburg Academic Movement.

Dr. Carson has four children and enjoys community volunteering, running, reading and the outdoors.
