I've been a professional jazz fusion bassist who has been playing exclusively fretless bass since 1976 and it was my sole sourceof income since from 1980 to 2004.

During that time I played in over 40 bands,no one famous,mostly blues and swing,but country,rock,bluegrass even musical theatre too.I toured around the Maritimes,across Canada including Montreal Jazz,and did several tours of Europe.

I left my career to transition fulltime female and began hormonal therapy in 2005.

I was hired by Loblaws/Superstore in 2007 as the first transwoman hired by them across Canada ,I was asst to the manager of Health ad Beauty.

I met and fell in love with my twin soul Julia October 2009,and we were married a year from our first date in October of 2010. I retired to be fulltime caregiver and housewife soon after.

Since then I've worked with a wonderful singer songwriter,Bernie Doucette,,the McLaws Band with Ian McLaws and Paul Gallant(a blues trio),and two Black Sabbath cover bands,Back Stabbath,with Bernie Fitzgerald on voice ,Paul Gallant drums and Les Brown guitar,(we covered the Ozzy years all 8 lps in entirety) ..we reformed as Maloik,Black Sabbath focusing on Ronnie James Dio ,and added Manoli Xios on vocals..I left the Dio project in October..I'll be working once again on my soundscapes,solo..and hope to use music in awareness of issues concerning Fukushima,and guardianship of our Earth Mother.
