That's how all teenagers are, right? Well, she protests against what she thinks is unfair and she rebels against society in the time of the Cold War and the Sexual Revolution (the 1950's.)

Ginger, though, has a secret. She has been reincarnated many times. She has a revenant (a being who will follow and protect her until she dies peacefully.) She has not died peacefully, though, so she continues to be reincarnated.

She obtained her revenant when she was a young woman Clementine. Clementine fell in love with the man who would be her revenant, Xalbador. Her parents forbade their love, however, and forced her to marry a man that she did not love. Eventually, she got pregnant with Xalbador's baby. Disgusted, her parents forced her to get rid of the baby. Clementine killed herself.

Xalbador then became her revenant and swore to protect her until she died a peaceful death. She has reincarnated at least thirteen times.

Ginger just wants to be a normal teenager.
