Hello, my name is Garrett Mitchell.
I’m a print journalism student at The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in Phoenix.

I was born in Savannah, Georgia, in 1994. My family eventually settled in Sierra Vista, Arizona, where I attended Buena High School. I was the editor of the school’s newspaper, The Pegasus, which was distributed to the town and surrounding area.

I have also contributed to The Sierra Vista Herald as a columnist and reporter, covering various events in the community as well as providing my perspective on television and film. My work has also appeared in Cochise College’s online student publication, The Kaleidoscope.

I enjoy dabbling in photography to accompany my writing. Some of my images can be seen in Vogue Italia’s website, PhotoVogue.

I currently write for The Chic Daily and A Tailored Place blogs.
