His music is a deep trip through Electronic Music World: Ambient, Downtempo, Electro Funk, Dub, Dubstep, Techno, Progressive, PsyTrance, Sound Design researches.

Simone grew up with any kind of rock music, loving disco & funk of '70 and electro pop of 80', but also influenced by jamaican reggae and african sounds; he also studied guitar, drum & percussions for many years.

He started to use electronic sound elements during the first college period, while he was studying Multimedia Design Communication, simultaneously cultivating passion for music and for computer arts. He has been influenced by Aphex Twin and by the use of Roland Tb303 sounds, and since 1999 he started to play like Dj (with the pseudonymous of Dj Meko) all over his country, in many indoor parties and in some big dance music festival worldwide, like Universo Parallelo (Brasil), Sonica Festival (Italy), Antiworld Festival (Uk) and more.

In 2004 he began to produce his proper music, under the name of "Gaiatech" or with his other pseudonymous "Meko Dj" and, after released some Digital EPs, in 2012 he released his first album "Progressive Re-Birth" on Polena Records.

After that, he studied Music Production at Berklee College of Music, improving his technical and musical skills and finding new artistic directions; during the winter 2015 he released 2 new digital albums "Magikland" and "Dreampot Radio" with his proper label GaiatechMusic.

At the moment he's working on his next album out in 2016, besides he's realizing a music picture soundtrack for the movie "Antartika", meanwhile he's working like sound engineering and music technology teacher for local music schools and international music producers. He' s always looking to collaborate in new artistic projects, synergetic working with musicians, producers, creatives & performers.
