Wilfred "Freddy Will" Kanu (Jr).
is a Canadian-American artist, and author best known for releasing Hip Hop albums with their accompanying book. Planet Africa Magazine named him "A Man of Will Power". Following the release of his 2008 debut album, he re-released it with his first book the following year [2009]. That was his first book and album release. 2010 began with a "Best Spoken Word Album for Children" Grammy nomination for a children's album by the NYCHSF. That same year [2010] Freddy Will released his second album which was published with its accompanying book.

In 2011 he was honored with four Limited Edition Postage Stamps of Sierra Leone issued by the Inter-Governmental Postal Consultants [IGPC] and the Government of Sierra Leone's [his birth country] Postal Authorities. In 2012 Freddy Will wrote the theme song, "And Then They'll Grow" for the Rotary Club of Etobicoke's - Rotary Food Initiative. He was nominated for "Best Male Artist" at the 2013 African Entertainment Awards in Toronto, Canada.

In 2014 Freddy Will released his third book and album. His legacy as a rapper is his book plus album releases. In 2015, Freddy Will launch his seven-volume book series. He relocated as a Grenadian and European Union diplomat from Toronto, Canada to Brussels, Belgium. In 2017, Freddy Will released his Greatest Hits album and transferred his company from the United States to Estonia. In 2020, he released an album featuring songs with Afrobeat singers from Sierra Leonean. He is currently promoting three new books including the seventh volume of The Sandmann's Journal.*
