This 90s UK techno act is the creation of one Nick Newell, a man whose records show a clear line of descent from Kraftwerk’s computerised pop.
His ‘Stone Age’ has become a widely venerated track, but it was not always a life of boundless techno experimentalism. In 1993 he returned to his former occupation, that of session musician, picking up lucrative contracts with Gary Glitter and Take That tours.
