A native of Trieste, Italy, Fabio Poian is a versatile drummer and has been involved in many musical projects in which he has played a variety of styles.

He has had the opportunity to play everything from Metal to Jazz and Gospel to Pop in ensembles as small as a Funk trio and as big as a 50 piece brass band.

His talents have taken him on tours across several European countries including Italy, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and the Czech Republic.

On November 29th 2007 Fabio won the final of the Italian under18 Groove section “Drummer of Tomorrow” competition which was organised by Mapex in Bologna, and hosted by Dom Famularo.

One of Fabio's latest works is the album "Iterations to Reality" by the Italian Hard Rock/Metal band Fist of Rage, which was recorded at the New Sin Studios (Treviso, Italy) and released by the record label Andromeda Relix.

In October 2009, Fabio moved to the United States to study music performance at the Los Angeles Music Academy College of Music under the guidance of world class drummers such as Joe Porcaro, Ralph Humphrey, Tony Inzalaco, Gary Ferguson, Richie Gajate Garcia, Aaron Serfaty, Dave Beyer, Michael Packer.

He has also had the opportunity to play and study with bassists such as Jerry Watts, Steve Billman, Phil Bynoe, and Rufus Philpot.

Fabio is currently living in Los Angeles and working both as the drummer for the Celtic Rock band Stand Easy and as a freelance musician in a variety of projects and lineups.
