"Ever since I was a kid I liked all sorts of forms of music, especially Big Band and Swing, some of the oldies form the 60's, and even some of the really old stuff from the cylinder record days that I discovered by researching phonographs on the internet. It wasn't until I was in my teenage years that I got into hip hop. When I was young, I was obsessed with the phonograph, mostly because my dad collected a few old Victrolas and some old 78 rpm records, so I got into that for a while, until after a while when I was seen as a hard core nerd. Later I transferred to a different school with different people, where I got a fresh start. I decided to try listening to the local Top 40 radio channel out of Bangor Maine and ever since then, I've been obsessed with hip hop and it's related genres. So much to the point where in the summer of '08, I started to produce instrumentals and have been making them ever since." DTMofNRH has also been known as: DJ-S, DanTheMan, DanThePimpin'Man, Mad Doggg, and Town Car Dan, among various other names. He is also know for his signature walk (some would call it swag) and his blingage made with hardware chain and car ornaments.
