44 Years, where did it go? I don't know.
I sit and wonder sometimes. But sometimes late @ night as I drive home in the moonlight, I recall. Like a Rock I stood Arrow Strait, Hard Charging aganist the gate & carrying more than my weight, like a rock!

The "about me" part is always the worse for me to fill in. I'm 44 years young, in a state of constant flux between helping others, and myself as well. I'm so involved in the one so much though, I forget about the other regularly. I shed a tear when a Warrior passes on and pay the respect owed. I still stand tall when the the National Anthem is played, and remember my youth in the Navy as a Corpsman. I still press my shirt and spit-shine my shoes when final honors need to be paid to the fallen. I love this country, my family and friends and pray daily for all the aforementioned. The Star of Life is my shield, and my well honed skills as a technician is my weapon. I don't forgive or forget easy, so when someone speaks lightly of 9/11 or the death of a warrior, I remember PAPD/FDNY-EMS/NYPD and my friend Damian Busard and quickly point them in a different direction and show them another perspective. God, Honor and Country mean something to me, more so than others I guess. But Blessed are the peacemakers, they shall inherit the kingdom. "Whoever saves one life, saves the world entire." Before you heard it in a movie, it was in the Torah. So as one can see, "about me" is alot and nothing. I'm a man loved by few and respected by some, a humble servant, a warrior in my own right, a thinker, a believer and one who tries to forgive. So much left to do, so little time to get it done. So you can get busy living, or get busy dying. In strength and honor, I'll live to serve. And hope I can meet God standing up doing the job I was blessed and honored to do for so long. To me I hope to save that one life, and in so the world entire.
