With origins forged in four separate nations (Fiji, NewZealand, the UK, and the West Coast of America), FreQ Nasty has leveraged hismulticultural background to straddle and often buck the trends in electronicmusic culture. An innovator in theUK’s ‘Nu-Skool Breaks’ Movement in the early 2000’s, and an early importer ofDubstep to the US in 2006, his current productions range from peaktime bassheavy gut crunchers to deep and melodic dubwise vibes. After his early successes leading to acover story in UK EDM bible ‘DJ Magazine’, he has collaborated with the likesof Bassnectar, Santigold & Switch and Marty Party, and done officialremixes/production for artists including hiphop legend KRS1, Professor Green,Kelis, and Fatboy Slim. Today FreQNasty continues to push the boundaries of the dancefloor forward in his musicproduction whilst sharing stages with Bassnectar, Beats Antique, Prodigy,Chemical Brothers, and Tipper among others.
