When the first track was made, Jan and Cyril began to search for the rest of the squad, developing the concept of the band at the same time.

The work as it turned out was not easy. After considering the candidacies of more than 15 musicians and changing two or three names, a bass player Sergey Kushnir was found and later the rest of the squad - Alexander Makhorin (keyboards) and Oksana Element (vocals).

At 26 of August, 2008 the squad was approved once and for all and this day is considered to be the birthday of the band. At 28 of November of same year the first concert was given.

Since there original sound and style have been developing with intense concert activity.

In early 2011 Despectus decide to fill a vacant place of the second guitarist, which was empty all that time. Dmitry Miroshnichenko was selected from many candidates.

June 17, 2011. Despectus completed work on their first official release - the album Human Vices.

In the summer of 2011 Oksana Element moved to Kiev and participated a challenging project. Oksana was the face of the band for 3 years, we thank her for everything and wish futher success in creative work!

In the summer 2012 new vocalist Anastasia Kulikova came to the band.

At the beginning of October, 2012, the keyboard-player, Aleksander Mahorin, leaves the band. We are grateful to him for all that things he did for the band and wish him all the best in future life.
