Demonium have been around for over 10 years now. In and out of the local Melbourne metal with many line-up changes and other set backs the band has always managed to get itself back on it's feet. The biggest set back being the passing of their well respected vocalist Nick Walker back in 2004.

In the beginning Demonium began as more of an old school Death/Thrash crossover style in the vein of bands like Sepultura, Slayer, Obituary and Death. But as the band went through line up changes and members aged their song writing also matured.

By 2005 the band began to really find and develop their own sound. Still having a high influence of old school death metal and thrash metal. The band also started experimenting with groove and progressive passages and this was just the beginning of the modern sound with an old school edge that the band has continued to produce up until today.

The music today may not be as fast as it was early last decade but it is definitely much heavier and catchier to the listener.
