One of the distinguishingfeatures of the band's creative work is sticking to the dark atmosphere ofBlack Metal while using some elements from other extreme styles. Expression ofour own philosophical and musical outlook with no compromise to fashion andother ideologies which are formed with person's dependency is the mostimportant for the band.

The main idea of DEF/LIGHT's creative work is development,freedom, anticlericalism, and mysticism. Over the last 9 years of band'sexistence they have achieved a lot: 2 released albums Benedictus Ash (2008) andHateforhateone(2010), they have performed at more than 100 concerts includingthose in Europe. The third release is expected in spring 2013.
