Dead Suburbans was formed in 1997 by Mario Anzures and Jeff Zuba while in High School.
Agnostic Front,T.S.O.L. and many other old school bands were our main influence. We played our 1st show in 1999 at a Counter Vulture Record store in Downtown Orlando. Our bass player Dru at the time was arrested for underage drinking before we were about to go on. We still played, but it was a fucking mess.Later in 1999 we had our long time friend Mike Delia play bass and met a guy name Tony Rodriquez to play guitar. We played our next show later that year at Will's Pub in Orlando. Others on the bill were the Malfactors,Loaded,Green Goblyn Project. We gained a bunch of loyal fans of punks, skins, druggies and other lowlifes after that show that would be with us for the next 2 years. Tony Left in 2000 to go back to Venezuela. He is currently in the band A Dying Regime. We recorded a 12 song cd in November of 2001 as a 3 piece with Jeff doing vocals and guitar, Mike D. playing bass and Mario on drums. the album was only circulated at a few shows. We brought back our 1st guitarist Mike Kemp for a few shows. After we played a show with L.A punk legends T.S.O.L. at the Sapphire Supper Club in Orlando 2001 we said fuck it and stopped playing. Jeff Zuba and Mike Delia formed Jersey Duty in 2005 with Jeff's brother Joe on drums. Everybody got older and moved out of town....... 2 original members Jeff and Mario are both now in Sarasota which means its the return of THE DEAD SUBURBANS.
