Those which are presented here are part of the library preserved by memory that made it to some final (?) recorded form. My music is extremely personal but is given some universal connection to all people by title only. The connection is there, but you must find it in yourself. I share what I have here because friends encouraged me to do so. Otherwise there may never have been a reason to expose any of it. (Since I have been on hiatus for the past few years-life has its way of tracking us down and guiding us to far off places in the world- it may be a while before I can get everything transferred from the old version of this page over to this updated one). I also look forward to hopefully reconnecting with some of you whom I was in contact with regularly in the past.

Happy New Year! Recently when writing New Year`s cards to friends here in Japan I wrote the date with the year "2014". Out of habit it is so easy to forget about things. As you get older time seems to go faster and faster and everything passes so much quicker than you imagine.

The new year came in unceremoniously. It was more a series of annual habits; watching the Red and White Ball on NHK, eating a big meal in front of the TV, watching everyone else drink while being totally comfortable. Out in the country it seems to be very common to do so.

I think back to when I lived closer to a big city and it wasn`t much different; New Year`s was spent doing something at home or close to home to avoid the chaos of drinking hoards of people. Home, no matter where that may be, is maybe the best place to be when the old and new year meet up.

Hopefully all of you had a safe New Year`s with a full stomach and a not-so-painful hangover if at all. I`m coming back to writing and hopefully making more music here this year. Past years have been extremely life busy. Let`s see what I can make happen this time.
