I'm an artist and writer, doing graphic-, web-, and UI-design contracting as a way to pay the bills while I work on 3D illustration, modeling and animation--and struggle to write my great sci-fantasy epic.

I am a bit of a paradox, and could wear one of several popular clichés if I was interested in categorizing myself in the most convenient terms. The truth, however, is a bit stranger than fiction. I'm not the person I appear to be; I don't seem to be a product of my circumstances as much as I am a product of my own imagination.

I was born with instincts--a very stubborn predisposition--that ran contrary to my physical make up. I had to work at understanding how to be the person others expected me to be, or what I'd be if I was the same person on the outside I am on the inside. It made me an incredible method actor, a natural philosopher, a student of everything, an unconventional writer and a frustrated--often on the brink of starving--artist.
