Jesus is lord ministries was established by Evangelist Lyagoba and his fellow Christian Mr. Oteko David in 2012 as community based organization .They could not ignore the plight of the forgotten children and the widows in their community and the surrounding areas ,lacking even the most basic essential of life ,these children were impoverished every sense of the word. No one seemed to want them that is why in 2012 with the financial support from the community and friends, they managed to open up Jesus is lord ministries in Wairaka village Jinja district and the project has 50 registered children who are being helped at their relatives’ homes and those without relatives are being given stronger Christians from the church to stay with them. The Jesus is lord ministries is to embrace the children ,cater for the concerned orphaned children from the basic needs and to the spiritual needs, sustainability enrich ,support and equip the vulnerable orphans with knowledge ,skills and attitude to utilize and use their potential for their better welfare and communities. Jesus is the lord ministries is also focused on providing holistic support to all categories of orphans and the vulnerable children through the structures of Christian churches .Jesus is lord ministries is a registered organization which is pursuing it is mission through the attainment of the following objectives: To provide shelter and education to the orphans and unprivileged children. To give compassion, training and caring to orphans and widows. To set up income generating activities for widows. To improve on the general health of the children both in the homes and schools.
