Darrell Arnold's compositions are soulful folk-rock, with a twist of country blues.
Darrell now lives in Surfside, FL, where he regularly plays with the Sarah Jacob Trio and plays his own material in diverse musical constellations. He has just returned to studio in the first time for over 10 years to record new songs and new arrangements with the Miami musicians Jack Shawde, Diane Ward, Matthew Sabatella, and Max Farber. It is a promising Americana CD, sure to excite fans of the genre.

Darrell lived in Germany in the 1990s and early 2000s, working there into the club scene and playing as opening act for Canned Heat, Eric Burdon and the New Animals and for two tours of The Yardbirds. In 2002, he won a German national prize for CD production of the Year with the German Pop and Rock Music Association.

THE RECORDINGS now available on myspace are from three early CDs: EVERYDAY STORIES was produced by Klaus Bohlmann and Hendrich Schaper at Camilion Studios in Hamburg. FISH OUT OF WATER is a digital release, produced by Klaus Marner in Elk Studios. Two songs currently on myspace are remakes from songs on HERE OR SOMEWHERE ELSE (Darrell's first release, produced by Chris Beckers in Amsterdam).
