IN THE BEGINNING … Born on January 31st 1990, Danny Walker - Guitarist, Musician and Creator, grew up in the quiet north-eastern town of Stockton-On-Tees. Danny’s Uncle and long-time working folk guitarist and singer songwriter Eddie Walker is the earliest musical influence and motivated him to finally pick up the guitar and play music when he was 13. By this time, the music industry had evolved dramatically; the Internet opened new doors to music accessibility and along with this came many musical influences that would ultimately shaped Danny’s style. After only playing guitar for 6 months, Dan decided to form a band called Platinum78, which would evolve and evolve as Dan’s musical ability grew. After limited success with the band, the turning point in Dan’s future in music was the decision to study music performance at Tech Music School and to move out of his small northern town and down to the big city, London Town!

THE STORY SO FAR… Since his move, Danny Walker has been hard at work as a musician, a writer and performer,working with many artists including the new kid on the block, rapper and producer Clixx. Danny’s wonderfully expressive and original guitar work can be heard on the top-10 chart topper ‘I want more’, which not only launched him into the public eye as one of the best session guitarists working in the UK today but also turned people on to his unique style of playing.

He draws much of his stylisticinfluences from tonal virtuosos such as Jack White, John Fruschanti and thelate Texan blues god Steve Ray Vaughn. Danny’sunique blend of grunge, progressive rock, acoustic and electronic music drawsfrom his broad spectrum of stylistic influences. These range from 90s grungeand speed metal to Jazz, funk, fusion and the modern electronic dance music oftoday. Everything he has done, heard, seen and felt has shaped him one way oranother into the modern pioneering guitarist, writer, and creative musician heis today.
