Inspired by a backstage meeting with Roy Orbison, guitarist and songwriter Daniel Simonis moved from Midwestern Ohio to New York to immerse himself in the music scene.
Refusing to conform to the big city lifestyle, Simonis carved out a niche as an urban cowboy, playing simple, heartfelt Americana rock songs. Similar to Chris Isaak in both looks and tone, he walks the line between gentle rockabilly, mellow country-pop, and pure, aching folk music. His self-titled debut was released in late 2000. ~ Zac Johnson
