Daniel began singing in and leading the choir at his church by age 7. Singing in the church choir guided Daniel to start writing songs by the age of 13. Even though Daniel hails from New York the heart of the music industry, he has always understood that he would have to work very hard to build a name for himself as an artist. Born to parents who were musically inclined as well, Daniel understood the gift of creating music that he received and vowed not to take it for granted. It was Daniel’s mother and sister who encouraged him to start record his written songs at age 15.

Daniel has a modern and unique sound that is not a prototype of many of the current artists in R&B, he remains rooted in being original like many of the legends from the past including Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross and James Brown who defined who they were as artists. Controversy and placing his personal life on display is not how Daniel would like to ascend to the top of the music industry, building a brand based on quality on being genuine is the only formula he will use for gaining exposure and fans. One of Daniel’s major goals is to get signed to a label where he will be allowed to promote his creativity as an artist. Daniel is adding the finishing touches on his upcoming EP and looking to perform more around New York and in other areas.
