My friend are from every walk. As a child we moved, for a short-stint, to the land of sun, Los Angeles, California (talk about night & day.) Professional Librarian, Semi-professional Actor and all around "Jack-of-all-trades" type. Each step helps me continue to expand my view of the world and people I meet on my journey! The first born of 4, after my mother died (upon my leaving California) my brothers and I were fortunate to have exceptionally wonderful & caring grandparents. These wonderful people took us in, loved and nourished us, until their deaths.

For over three decades now I have worked within the government agency of Calcasieu Parish as my primary occupation. In addition, my craft of Acting continues to open more doors allowing me small (but golden) opportunities into Movies, Television commercials & Radio spots that has proved modestly lucrative. Just recently the door opened adding Stage to the paying gigs I've done. For a Multi-cultural kid from a poor background, I feel tremendously blessed! After an 8-year sojourn, beginning 17 years earlier, I finally obtained my Bachelors of General Studies 12/07. The degree carries with it a Major in Behavioral Sciences and a double-minor in Psychology & English. My advice to those who think they cannot achieve something they have always dreamed of? Turn that negative record off (in your head) and then reinforce the positives.
