Before she was a singer/songwriter, Coles Whalen fronted a band in Los Angeles for two and a half years prior to going solo.
She released an EP of solo work, purchased a truck and a camper, and began playing venues and selling her EP throughout the western United States. After selling over 2,000 copies of her work, Whalen decided that it was time to record new material. The result was her first album, Gee Baby, which was released in 2005. She returned to the road (this time expanding her touring schedule across the country) to play both solo and with a new band. Whalen's second album, Nothing Is Too Much, was released in March 2007 on Iconic Records. ~ Katherine Fulton
