Coldseed is a European ensemble featuring several musicians with lengthy heavy metal résumés, namely Swedish vocalist Björn "Speed" Strid (Terror 2000, ex-Darkane, Soilwork), German drummer Thomen Stauch (ex-Blind Guardian, ex-Iron Savior, Savage Circus), German bassist Oliver Holzwarth (ex-Demons & Wizards, Blind Guardian), German keyboardist Mi Schüren (Blind Guardian), plus unknown guitarists Thorsten Praest (Sweden) and Gonzalo Alfageme López (Spain).
Forging an odd mix of hard rock, nu-metal and gothic alt-rock, the group first began jamming in 2004, finalizing their full-length debut, Completion Makes the Tragedy for release through Nuclear Blast two years later. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia
