After returning from Mexico in 2013, Melbourne multi-instrumentalist Clive Mann’s music and stories draw on the experience of having lived all-over-the-goddamn-place and witnessing the joys and frustrations of friends, enemies and strangers from Madrid to Mexico City, Holland and across his native Australia.
Clive’s “cosmic psych folk” sound draws on diverse influences such as The War on Drugs, Randy Newman, Will Oldham, Lou Reed and Sharon Van Etten. A gifted storyteller, Clive works in close collaboration with “sonic magician” Damian Hooper (Little John) on guitar and an array of excellent supporting musicians.

Clive played a series of compelling solo and full band shows through 2014 in Melbourne. He releases his first single/ music video “How to Ride a Pony” in March 2015 accompanied by launch shows in Melbourne and Sydney. The single will be followed by the release of a series of songs throughout 2015 culminating in the release of a debut LP.
