Having won press accolades for his seemingly seamless blending of rock, soul, and electronic sounds, Chris Marsol landed an envious record deal with San Francisco's Hiero Imperium label.
That great leap forward allowed Marsol to develop his already well-received and signature sound into the critically lauded debut album, Butterflies, Lipstick, and Handgrenades, which hit the streets in March of 2010. Hailing from the same city as the label that snapped him up, Marsol took his childhood love and musical foundation of rock, pop, and soul and put a personal spin on it that won him a fair amount of praise. ~ Chris True
