The Washed Moonlight
The Night of June 4 Brings New Hope
The azure sky spread to infinity
Shines from between the white cotton balls
Across the vast horizon
It rained heavily the last day
The Nisarga storm lashed the coastal India
But the hope pacified the landfall
The dust has settled and grass is green
It is months people have been home
Praying for a safe world from Covid-19
The washed moonlight will enlighten the dark nights
Stars are out smiling. We’ll also be out soon.
