Carlo Petruzzellis, born in Bari, South of Italy in 1982.
EDUCATION:
Some lessons of modern guitar with M° P.Mazzarano (R.Brecker, B. Mintzer, S.J. Morris, ecc) and M° L.Damiani. He attended masterclasses taught by world-renowned guitarists: Scott Henderson, Frank Gambale, Greg Howe, Nico Stufano, Antonio Onorato. In 2004 he moved to Rome where he attended the Jazz Ensemble Labs at Saint Louis Music College and PercentoMusica driven by U.Fiorentino, F.Sferra, F.Zappetella, M.Moriconi, E.Gentile, S.Micarelli, S.Sabatini. He attended "La Sapienza" University of Rome and, when he was 24 years old, he received a Master's degree with honors in Electronic Engineering with a focus on Audio Signal Processing.

He performed with artists such as: Dave Liebman, Dick Halligan, Giulio Carmassi, Roberta Gambarini, Massimo Manzi, Rocco Zifarelli, Carla Marcotulli, Ron Seguin, Massimo Nunzi, Francesco Puglisi, Elisabetta Antonini, Luca Bonvini, Enrico Zanisi, Chiara Izzi, Marco Guidolotti, Francesco Lento, Luigi Di Nunzio, Tony Cattano, Giacomo Uncini, Claudio Zanghieri, Valerio Vantaggio, Jacopo Ferrazza, Quartetto Capriccio, Giovani Titani Orchestra, Giuseppe Bassi, Michele Fazio, and many others. He composed soundtracks for spot advertising and for short films.

° Jazzit Awards 2013 - “New Experiences Time”, the debut album of N.EX.T. with all tracks composed by Carlo Petruzzellis, is included in the “100 Greatest Jazz Album” of 2013 by Jazzit Magazine.
° 2010, he has been chosen as one of the finalist in the prestigious competition for jazz guitar player "Eddie Lang Jazz Guitar Competition".
° 2006, scholarship winner to "Roma Jazz's Cool International Workshop".
° 2004, finalist in "Baronissi Jazz Competition" w/ Statale16 4tet.
° 2004, 3rd place winner in "Jazz Nostrum Competition" w/ Statale16 4tet.
MUSIC TECHNOLOGY:
Designs and develops Audio Processing Algorithms for Musical Signal Processors and Audio Systems. He is author of scientific pubblications for AES (Audio Engineering Society).
