Upon their formation in 1999, Caddy Wampuss got together for the intention of restoring "traditional elements of rock & roll" while lyrically voicing their environmental concerns to their native of Huntington Beach, CA.
With the lineup consisting of Toad (vocals/harmonica), Tucker (guitar), T-bone (drums), and James (bass), the band musically looks up to the likes of the Blues Travelers andPhish as their live set consists of informal jam sessions with additional inspirations of blues and jazz. This sound was eventually captured on their 2000 self-released debut EP entitled Freedom. ~ Mike DaRonco
