With fans ranging from BBC presentersincluding Janice Long and Tom Robinson to Grammy winning producer Pete Smith(The Police, Sting). Bruise have stamped their uncompromising identity on anaudience hungry for originality. Singer IsobelMorris is one of Britain’sfinest songwriters whose songs are sung widely on the folk circuit. Her lyrics havebeen taught in schools. She is currently collaborating with Cathy Lesurf(Fairport Convention). The other half of this duo Jim Kimberley is a top flight session drummer whose recording andtouring credits include Mark Knopfler, Nick Heyward, Paul Young and Squeeze.This year Bruise feature on the Nokia Music folk compilation alongsidegreats such as Kate Rusby and Richie Havens and were Video Star band of theweek: their video Jennifer receiveing over one million hits and thousands offan videos uploaded onto YouTube. These are exciting times for Bruise and thelive show reflects this with stylish and emotive performances from dreamyfolk flavored pop to jagged and seductive rock.
